LETS MAKE ISRAEL'S ETHNIC CLEANSING OF PALESTINE AN ELECTION ISSUE IN THE UK
The information contained in this website was taken from Chapters Three and Five of a PhD Thesis on Western donor engagement in state-building in the occupied Palestinian territories which was successfully completed at a UK university in 2012 following a stringent Viva process. Any accusations of anti-semetism (hatred of Jews simply because they are Jews) are therefore dismissed.
NOT A SINGLE WORD OF CONDEMNATION from Sir Keir Starmer's Labour government, from Kemi Badenoch's Conservative party, or from Nigel Farage's Reform UK party as violent Jewish settlers, backed up by Israeli soldiers, have been going on the rampage in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, terrorising the Palestinian population, setting fire to their homes, torching their cars, and forcing them to leave their land so they can seize that land and build Jewish settlements on it. This is illegal under international law and is part of a campaign of ethnic cleansing against the territory's Palestinian inhabitants which Israel has been waging since its establishment in 1948. And it is continuing as we speak. In the last two years alone, hundreds of Palestinians have been shot dead or severly wounded by violent Jewish settlers and members of the Israeli army on the West Bank alone. Tens of thousands more have deen driven from their homes.
if you ever wondered why our government is failing to take meaningful action against Israel, it is because nearly every single member of the Labour government's front bench and most Conservative and Reform UK MPs are either staunch supporters or actual members of the pro-Israel lobby in the UK. Many receive funding from it. This makes them complicit in Israel's brutal repression of the Palestinian people. Through their staunch and unequivocal support, both for Israel and for the pro-Israel lobby, they are playing an active part in Palestinian suffering. They take every opportunity to express their unconditional support for Israel, whatever Israel does, yet mention nothing about the right of Palestinians to live free of Israeli occupation and daily repression. They present Israel as the victim of Palestinian 'terrorism', when in fact it is Israel which has been engaged a deliberate, pre-planned, and calculated effort at ethnically cleansing Palestine of its original inhabitants for nearly eighty years.
Many UK MPs simply do not believe that Palestinians have a right to self-determination on their own land, and label anyone who campaigns for an end to Israel's occupation of the Palestinian territories as either 'antisemitic', or a 'preacher of hate'. Staunch allies of Israel and members of the pro-Israel Lobby have also attacked demonstrations attended by millions of decent British men and women in London and other cities up and down the country as 'hate marches'. Below are just some of the many hundreds of MPs who are staunch supporters of Israel and the pro-Israel lobby in the UK. They use right-wing, pro-Israel, anti-Palestinian media outlets such as the Daily Mail, the Daily Telegraph and GB News to express their despicable views.
It is interesting that these are the very people who have also been stirring up racial hatred in the UK by making regular statements aimed at increasing tensions within our communities.
Asking these MPs to change their positions on Israel's brutal repression of the Palestinians would be futile. This issue could only be settled at the ballot box. Through the democratic process, we all have a duty, and the power, to change things for the better. We can do this by rooting out these morally corrupt MPs and voting in a new crop of MPs who will look after the interests of their constituents, and at the same time uphold international law by stopping all arms exports to Israel and taking whatever action necessary through the United Nations Security Council to force Israel to abide by its Resolutions and end its occupation of the Palestinian territories.

'HUMAN ANIMALS' AND 'THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS PALESTINIANS'. This is how Israel refers to the Palestinian people. It was a deliberate strategy that was aimed at stripping the Palestinian of their humanity in order to legitimise its ethnic cleansing of Palestine in the run up to its establishment. It is a strategy every Israel Prime Minister has followed ever since Israel's establishment in 1948. And it is this same strategy which Israel adopted in its recent war on Gaza in which more than 75,000 people were killed. More than 70% of those who lost their lives were women and children. In its two-year military campaign, Israel destroyed 83% of homes in Gaza. It also destroyed Gaza's schools, hospitals, universites, mosques and churches, as well as most of its civilian infrastructure. In September 2025, the United Nations Independent International Commission of Enquiry on the occupied Palestinian territories concluded that Israel committed GENOCIDE in Gaza.
THIS IS HOW ISRAEL WAS CREATED
Israel was created through ethnic cleansing and terrorism. Its leaders, past and present, engaged in mass murder of Palestinians, as well as the destruction of hundreds of Palestinian towns and villages. Its current Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, is wanted by the International Criminal Court for war crimes and crimes against humanity for his part in the killing of more than 75,000 Palestinians in Gaza between 2003 and 2005, most of whom were women and children.
MAKE-UP OF THE CURRENT ISRAELI GOVERNMENT

BENJAMIN NETANYAHU:
PRIME MINISTER
Born in Poland and current Prime Minister of Israel. Heads a government made up of far-right extremists. In 2006, he attended a two-day event celebrating the blowing up of the King David Hotel in 1948 in which ninety-two people were murdered. In November 2024, the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for Netanyahu and for Israel's Defence Minister at the time for war crimes and crimes against humanity for their part in the killing of more than 75,000 people in the Gaza war. 70% of those who lost their lives were women and children.

BEZALEL SMOTRICH:
FINANCE MINISTER
Born in Ukraine and Israel's far-right Finance Minister. Claimed in March 2023 that there was 'no such thing' as a Palestinian people. Pushing for Palestinians to be expelled from the West Bank and Gaza. Along with Ben-Gvir, incites settlers to carry out daily violent attacks against Palestinians.

ITAMAR BEN-GVIR
NATIONAL SECURITY MINISTER
National Security Miniter and leader of the extremist 'Jewish Power' party. Has faced many indictments for inciting racism and other offences, and ersonally overseen the abuse and torture of Palestinian political prisoners being held in Israeli Jails.
PREVIOUS ISRAELI PRIME MINISTERS AND THEIR LINKS TO TERRORISM AND ETHNIC CLEANSING
ARIEL SHARON, BORN TO RUSSIAN JEWISH IMMIGRANTS
PRIME MINISTER OF ISRAEL: 2001-2006

In October 1953, Ariel Sharon led the Israeli army's 'Unit 101' attack on the Palestinian village of Qibya in which 69 Palestinians - mostly women and children - were murdered. As Israel's Defence Minister in 1982, he was found to be 'personally responsible' for the Sabra and Shatila massacre in Lebanon in which between 2000 to 3500 Palestinian and Lebanese civilians were murdered.
YITZHAK SHAMIR, BORN IN POLAND
PRIME MINISTER OF ISRAEL: 1986-1992
Before Israel was established in 1948, Yitzhak Shamir was a key leader of the 'Stern Gang', a violent militant Zionist group. He talked unambiguously about what he regarded as the need for Jewish groups to resort to terrorism as a way of achieving their objectives by claiming that "Neither Jewish ethics nor Jewish tradition can disqualify terrorism as a means of combat....[terrorism has a] great part to play….in our war against the occupier [Britain]".

MENACHEM BEGIN, BORN IN BELARUS
PRIME-MINISTER OF ISRAEL: 1977-1983
Headed 'Irgun', the militant Zionist group. The group introduced the practice of placing bombs in buses and large crowds. 'Irgun' was also behind the blowing up of King David Hotel in Jerusalem, the headquarters of the British Mandate government in 1946 which resulted in the killing of ninety-two people.
Along with the 'Stern Gang', 'Irgun' committed the Deir Yassin Massacre in April 1948 in which hundreds of innocent Palestinian men, women and children were massacred.
THIS IS HOW ISRAEL'S ETHNIC CLEANSING OF PALESTINE HAS BEEN (AND IS STILL BEING) TRANSLATED ON THE GROUND
Following Israel's establishment in 1948, Jewish forces conducted a campaign of ethnic cleansing in which more than 800,000 Palestinians were forcibly expelled from their homes. Many thousands more were murdered in a campaign which also involved the destruction of hundreds of Palestinian towns and villages. During this time, Jewish forces committed explicit acts of ethnic cleansing against Palestinians, including executions, rapes and more than twenty-four massacres in which thousands of Palestinians perished.

- In 1917, at the start of the British Mandate, the Jewish population in Palestine was approximately 60,000, comprising less than 10% of the entire population.
- The Balfour Declaration was followed by a massive and organized influx of Jews into Palestine; more than 350,000 between 1919 and 1939. By 1947, Jews comprised 35% of the population of Palestine.
- Following Israel's establishment in 1948, Jewish forces conducted a campaign of ethnic cleansing in which more than 800,000 Palestinians were forcibly expelled from their homes.
- In their quest to establish their state in historic Palestine, Jewish forces also waged a terrorist campaign against the British Mandate Government in the years preceding the establishment of the State of Israel. Between 1944 and 1947, for example, several Zionist organisations used terrorist bombings to drive the British from Palestine and killed many civilians in the process, including women and children.
- Following the six-day war in 1967, Israel seized the West Bank and Gaza from Jordan and Egypt and placed both territories under Israeli Civil Administration. In the process, it forcibly expelled a further 200,000 to 300,000 Palestinians from their homes/
- From 1967-1987, Israel expropriated 40% of the West Bank and built 125 Jewish settlements on it.
- The health budget for the entire West Bank in 1975 came to 60% of the budget for a 260-bed Israeli hospital in the same year. In 1985, the budgetary allocation for one Israeli hospital was six times more than the budgetary allocation to all nine hospitals in the West Bank.
- 1987-1991: First un-armed Palestinian uprising - or Intifada - against Israeli occupation. Israel adopted a 'break-the-bones' strategy - beating Palestinian protestors until their bones were broken. 1,100 Palestinians were killed by the Israeli army, 241 were children under the age of 17. 23,600 -29,900 Palestinian children required medical treatment for injuries sustained during the Intifada, a third of those sustained broken bones. A third of the beaten children were aged ten and under
- Since 1993, Israel has pursued a policy of severely restricting Palestinian movement and access, land expropriation and Jewish settlement expansion – all aimed at trapping millions of Palestinians into ‘pockets’ of territory surrounded by Jewish settlements and a web of roads and by-pass roads which they were prohibited from using. Israel also retained control over key factors of production, such as land, water, labour and capital, while access to natural resources remained highly restricted to Palestinians. For example, under the ‘Oslo II’ Agreement which was signed in September 1995, 82% of the West Bank’s ground water was allocated to Israel.
- In 2002, Israel erected a separation fence, or what Palestinians call the 'Apartheid Wall'. The Barrier has imposed additional restrictions on Palestinian movement and access in addition to those that were already in place before its construction. For example, it prevented thousands of Palestinian farmers from having access to their land, thereby preventing them from pursuing their livelihoods. It has also prevented thousands of Palestinians from attending university, or even having access to much-needed healthcare facilities. It also amounted to a 'land grab' as it involved the confiscation of almost 20% of the West Bank's most fertile land.
- The occupied Palestinian territories are today both besieged and internally fragmented. The 40% of the West Bank which is not under direct Israeli control consists of Palestinian ‘cantons’, separated from one another by the Separation Barrier, Israeli checkpoints and other physical barriers, Jewish settlements, and a segregated road network which is limited or totally prohibited to Palestinian use. This has led to the disintegration of the economic links between the different parts of the territories and the creation of disconnected Palestinian ‘clusters’ with increasingly less access to one another.
- In 1992, just one year before the Oslo Accords were signed, there were a total of 130,000 Jewish settlers in the West Bank. By the end of 2008, the number of settlements in the West Bank stood at 121, housing 303,800 Jewish settlers, (with another 193,700 in East Jerusalem).
- In addition to the large settlement blocks which are officially recognized as ‘legal’ by the Israeli government, there are also more than 300 unrecognized smaller settlements, or what the Israelis prefer to call “outposts” scattered throughout the West Bank. According to latest estimates, these consist of between 4,000 and 5,000 Israeli settlers who between them control a further 3,009 square kilometres of Palestinian land.

DAVID BEN-GURIAN, BORN IN POLAND
PRIME MINISTER OF ISRAEL: 1948-1954 & 1955-1963
"If I were an Arab leader I would never make terms with Israel. That is natural: we have taken their country….We come from Israel, but two thousand years ago, and what is that to them? There has been anti-Semitism, the Nazis, Hitler, Auschwitz, but was that their fault? They only see one thing: we have come here and stolen their country. Why should they accept that?"
THE INCREDIBLE POWER OF THE PRO-ISRAEL LOBBY IN THE UK
Tony Blair is a staunch supporter of Israel and the pro-Israel lobby. It is said that he lied to the British public about the threat posed by Saddam Hussein in order to justify the invasion of Iraq in 2003. It is also said that he did this under pressure from the pro-Israel Lobby. 179 British service personnel needlessly lost their lives in the conflict. The number of Iraqis who died range from 460,000 to one million. A further four million Iraqis were displaced as a result of the war. The literature on this is vast and is easily obtainable through a simple Google search.
In an interview with LBC on 11th October 2023, our current Prime Minister, Sir Keir Starmer, stated that Israel 'had the right' to withhold food, power and water from Gaza's civilian population. He also repeatedly refused to back calls for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza which allowed Israel to continue with its bombing campaign against Gaza's civilian population. At the time, this was seen as an attempt to placate the pro-Israel lobby in the run-up to the 2024 general election. More than 75,000 Palestinians were killed during Israel's war on Gaza. Hundreds of men, women and children also died of starvation as a result of Israel's deliberate policy of preventing food, medicine and water from going in. In September 2025, a United Nations Independent International Commission of Inquiry officially concluded that Israel was committing Genocide against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

Tony Blair is listed on the Anti defamation League (ADL) website as 'Speacial Advisor for Global Affairs'. The ADL forms an integral part of the US-based pro-Israel lobby..
One ofter the other, senior politicians appear at Labour and Conservative 'Friends of Israel' conferences to highlight their support for Israel. They are very careful to avoid criticising Israel's ongoing campaign of ethnic cleansing against the Palestinians out of fear that doing so may incur the wrath of the pro-Israel lobby.
